Who runs this site

publicspeakingfear.net is published by PageOneAI B.V. Questions about your data can go to hello@publicspeakingfear.net.

The self-check

The boxes you tick in the symptoms and triggers check are worked out inside your own browser. They are not sent anywhere and are gone when you close the page.

What is measured

We never ask who you are. To see how the page is used, a small script notes, without your name: that the page was opened, the page that sent you here, how far you scrolled, and whether you pressed an app button and which one. It also notes your browser language, your operating system and a random code kept in your browser, so a repeat visit is not counted twice. Your IP address is used to estimate your country and region and is not kept in full.

Who processes it

These visit counts pass through this site's own server to an analytics provider that stores them in the European Union. They are used only to understand and improve the page. Nothing is sold, and nothing is shared with advertisers.

Cookies and browser storage

No cookies are set. Your browser keeps the random code, a visit marker that lapses after 30 minutes of inactivity, your light or dark theme choice and, if you close it, the hidden state of the bottom app bar. Clearing this site's data in your browser removes all of them. With an ad blocker on, the page still works and nothing is measured.

App buttons

The app buttons open /first-test on this site. That address looks at your browser's user agent: Android visitors go to the Confidently page on Google Play, with the button's place on the page passed along as a referrer, and everyone else goes to the App Store. It keeps no record. Once you reach a store, the privacy terms of Apple or Google and of the app apply instead of this notice.

Your choices

Write to the address above to have data linked to your random code removed. Since we hold nothing that names you, clearing this site's storage is the quickest way to break the link yourself.
